WHAT IS “ILLUSION” ABOUT?

As a speaker designer, the most common thinking is …..how the ideal speaker supposed be like? What kind of condition should be met? The general user’s answer is usually be: “The speaker that suits my needs is a good speaker”. In fact , I also think this is the best answer.  It is always correct to set the conditions as needed. Therefore, DIVINI AUDIO has been committed to developing products that meet the needs of general public, and it will not be different in the future.

But there is a voice in my mind that keep reminding me. What kind of speakers can I create that can meet the ideals of myself? So I began to think one question after another discussion. Thinking, combination, optimization. Unconsciously, after 800 days of hard work, the new ultimate edition speaker “ILLUSION” finally launched. At this stage, this is the closest product to the ideal speaker.

Following is the mainly characteristic of the product.

1. Patent tweeter adjustable suspension system- there are 3 mainly function

   A: Adjust the front and rear position of the tweeter. (Able to finely adjust the phase difference caused by the front and rear positions)

   B: Use specially made rubber ring (added Teflon formula material) as damping. It will minimize the impact of intermodulation distortion caused by vibration.

   C: Use tweeter suspension structure to achieve counterweight function. The whole system weight 1.4kg. It makes the tweeter structure in a balanced and high inertia state. Minimize the impact of front and rear vibration caused by the movement of the tweeter single piston, which can ensure that the signal phase is in the most correct and stable state.

      2. The tweeter structure is made of all aluminum alloy, which possess characteristics  high quality (weight up to 18KG), high     rigidity and extremely low resonance. It keep     

          the tweeter able to free from vibration while it is on a solid foundation.

      3.The bracket and adjustment structure of the whole main part are all milled out of high-hardness aluminum. Regardless of rigidity and quality, the impact of woofer vibration    and     space sound waves has been minimized

      4.  Independent adjustable angle of mid-woofer speakers, +1, +2, 0, -1, -2(Please refer to figure 603-MIN & 603-MAX), That means at any listening position between 197-   685cm,  the deviation of axis of sound is withing 1 degree. The main part (including the tweeter structure and the mid-woofer speakers) continuously adjustable tilt angle, +1, +2, -1, -2 degree (Please refer to Figure 601 & 602-A+2 & 602-A-2), that means any listening position height between 115-140cm, the deviation of axis of sound is withing 1 degree. Under this structure, the tweeter and mid-woofer monomers are arranged in an arc. It effectively let the sound waves reach your ears with the smallest time difference. Also means that the note signals that your ears hear are complete and low phase difference

1. As we know, the interior surface and the outer shape of the speaker box are both

   elliptical curved surface. Ellipse is composed of two curves which have different focal

   points, one is short while the other is long. The focal point of the long curve is outside

   the ellipse while the focal point of the short one is inside the ellipse. We take   

   advantage of the characteristic that the focal point is outside the ellipse, and utilize   

   some part of the long curve to the structure of the box. Thus, as there is no energy

   focusing, it generates single point vibration of high level. Also, the volume of the box

   can be maximized, so it can evenly bear the pressure of the diaphragm movement on

   the box, make the box vibration low and even.

 6.  Of course we have not only the major voice type has substantial structure. The sub-woofer type not only has the characteristic of elliptical curved box but also features unequal thickness of the surface of the box. Moreover, the resonance used to disperse the same frequency even adopts unequal length reinforcing plates to the reinforcement of the inner side (  Because unequal length will cause different resonance). Thus, the bass structure can present a condition of nearly no box sound. Besides, the rubber anti-vibration cover on the sub-woofer driver magnet structure is combined with the major reinforcing plate directly. As a result, the sub-woofer driver can generate steady but low-loss low frequency band of high quality in a stable condition.
